As we got free drinks and sandwiches it saved us buying any lunch, and is so much more comfortable that we’re happy to pay the extra.
Our train was cancelled, luckily we were early – I always am for anything – so we caught at train to Stoke on Trent – first class – were put in the first class lounge at Stoke – free coffee, tea, lemon tea, nuts and raisins, crisps, cold drinks the lot. We were then collected and pt on the train to London – again first class and like I say, free sandwiches, drinks – we had one of each and then kept on having to refuse.
Breakfast: 20 grams protein powder, 1 peach, 1 kiwi fruit, 3 macedamia nuts, 1 tsp low sugar blackcurrant jam.
Snack: mixed nuts, 1 ounce cheese
Lunch: Bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich – leaving 1 slice of bread. 2 pieces of low carb chocolate (bar contains 3 pieces) coconut & almond.
Evening: Tandoori mixed grill, ie. Lamb chop, ½ chicken, sheik kebab – most of the chicken I brought back for protein for breakfast as we’re on continental breakfast so I’ll be having yogurt & fruit.
Drinks: 1 can diet coke, 2 330 mls water, 2 large herbal teas, ½ pint low calorie tonic water with lime.
