Today's food

I don't know why but I keep on losing my mouse. I'll be quite happily typing away - on line or in an ordinary document and my mouse just stops working. It is so frustrating as the only way I can sort it out is to turn my computer off and back on again - which means a) I lose whatever I've been working on - even if I save it with ctrl S and b) I have to turn my computer off without shutting it down properly and I don't know if this can cause problems in itself.

I told my part-time carer that I'm going to be cancelling her on a Friday today. I rarely do anything and she goes off with 2 hours free and getting paid for it - we agreed a long time ago (when it was an occasional thing) that we'd work it between ourselves - but I'm beginning to feel guilty. I know that my local council is having mega problems in balancing it's budget and although it's only £20 or so it adds up. She was nearly in tears, so I told her that it's so that poliphilo and I can go out more - we probably will - and she perked up at that.

I started having this carer before poliphilo finished work in 1996 and over the years it's become less and less use to me. She should take me swimming and she used to come into the water herself which was fun, but now she just sits at the poolside and waits for me. Then she passes me my clothes dries my back - and although I could do with more help she then goes back to sitting at poolside until I'm ready. And I hate having to ask her to do things - probably stupid but I can't help it.

Breakfast: 20grams protein powder, strawberries.

Lunch: 2 veggie sausages, piece of edam cheese & a slice of malted grain bread

Evening: salmon, a pancake a kinder egg.


3 Large Herbal teas, 1/2 pint slimline tonic water, 1 pint iced water.
