I got hustled off to bed before I was ready last night by poliphilo - he sorts out my creams & ankle & other sundry things when I go to bed - as he wanted to go and read his new Ghost book, as recommended by jackiejj,</span> which arrived yesterday, so I forgot to write my food for the day down.
Breakfast: supershake with juice from a tin of strawberries in fruit juice + 20grams protein powder.
Lunch: Soya chunks and cabbage, 1 apple
Evening: 1/2 cup mandarin oranes 1/2 cup pineapple in 1/4 cups cottage cheese.
Snack 1 oz cheese + 1 apple
I also drank 1.5 liters of water, 1/2 pint of slimline tonic water & 3 herbal teas.
Yesterday after lunch I was deninitely in 'the Zone' - after 4 hours I wasn't particularly hungry and I'd felt alert all afternoon. In the evening I hit the zone too - and couldn't get to sleep.
I'm usually in bed by about 7-8pm - I'm so tired all the time - I'm up every 2 hours all night to the loo, sleep until 7-8am and often get up in the morning feeling like I haven't slept. And I do, sometimes, go back to bed mid-morning.
This is one reason for trying the Zone diet, anything that can help me spend more hours awake is worth a try.
